Police Foils JRL's March, ' Yasin Malik Arrested In Maisuma' | KNO

Srinagar:Police on Sunday detained Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik and foiled his attempt to march towards the UN Observers’ office in Sonawar Srinagar. Witnesses said that Malik along with scores of his supporters tried to march towards Sonawar from Maisuma. However, police swung into action and detained him. He was lodged in Kothi Bagh police station. Malik had gone into hiding during past few days to evade his arrest by the police. Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) had called for a march towards the UN office today to coincide with the International Day of Human Rights.
